Miss Stacy

Stacy holds a B.F.A. from the University of the Arts.  Ms. Stacy began dancing when she was three years old and started teaching classes at the age of sixteen.  She is a well-rounded dancer and instructor with teaching skills in the disciplines of ballet, tap, jazz, pointe and creative movement.

Ms. Stacy studied with the Chester County Ballet Company and became a Soloist in 1995 and Principle Artist in 1997.  She was also a member of Philly Jazz and the Starlight Tap Ensemble.  She performed in thirteen annual productions of The Nutcracker including roles as Clara, The Snow Queen and The Sugar Plum Fairy.  Ms. Stacy has performed across the Philadelphia area appearing on WPVI with Al Albert’s Showcase as well as productions at the Claridge Hotel, Valley Forge Music Fair, the DuPont Hotel, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Franklin Institute and the Court of Lincoln Center in New York.  She also performed as the entertainment for the Mrs. Pennsylvania Pageant and the Mrs. New Jersey Pageant at the Atlantic City Convention Center.  Other notable performances were at the Merriam Theater and the Drake Theater in Philadelphia.

Stacy has many strengths as a teacher.  She will never forget her first dance class or her first recital and it means so much to her to be part of such an important experience in every dancer’s life. She loves dancing and nothing makes her happier than to share that love with each and every student that walks through the studio door.  Stacy has been with Main Line School since 2004.
